The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office awarded Harford Community College a grant to present programming that probes the meanings of the American Civil War.
In observance of the sesquicentennial of the Civil War, the College’s Library will partner with the Harford County Public Library, the Spirits of Tudor Hall, and the Historical Society of Harford County to promote and present a five-part reading discussion series, “Let’s Talk About It: Making Sense of the American Civil War,” to the public in spring 2012.
