Fallston High Develops Peer Mentoring Program
In 2009, Fallston High School’s (FHS) School Psychologist Sandie Carr and Assistant Principal Jonise Stallings became certified as Mentors from the Maryland Mentoring Partnership in Baltimore. With the support of the school leaders and feedback from students, they have coordinated and supervised a Peer Mentoring Program since its inception to support the overall success (improved academics, better attendance, postsecondary opportunities, and improved social and family relationships) of freshmen, sophomores and students transitioning to FHS.
