The 2010 Harford County Environmental Scholarship & Green Awards Event was held May 20th at the Harford Glen Environmental Education Center in Bel Air.What began as a local recycling project for Bel Air High School in 1972 grew in dramatic portions and has evolved into the second largest scholarship program in Harford County. Partnerships between Harford County Public Schools, the Susquehannock Environmental Center, many local businesses and individuals committed to the continuing education of the young scholars in the community have led the way for the success of this program.
