(Bel Air, MD) - - In 2008, County Executive David R. Craig formed the Energy Management Steering Committee, otherwise known as the Green Team, as one of his environmental initiatives. The goal of the Green Team is to guide energy and resource efficiency practices within the County. As a result of the work of the Green Team, the County’s commitment to sustainability is renewed today with the adopting of the energy resource management policy. Furthermore, with the launching of the new Environmental Stewardship webpage and the introduction of the Green Stars program for County employees, Harford County Government is demonstrating its on-going commitment to environmental initiatives.
