Urges All to File ElectronicallyANNAPOLIS, MD - Comptroller Peter Franchot today reminded taxpayers who received a six-month extension on their 2009 personal income tax returns to file by the October 15 deadline. About 90,000 extension returns are expected to be filed this year by next Friday.
