Harford County Public Library (HCPL) was announced as a second place winner in the HISTORY™ Library Outreach Contest for its Winds & Words of War: Posters & Prints from the San Antonio Public Library Collection exhibit. The collection of original World War I posters and prints was on display at the Bel Air and Jarrettsville branches from March 20 through May 31. Harford Community College’s Harford Dance Theatre will hold auditions on Saturday, August 21, for dancers and actors for the company’s annual production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker.
