Scouting for Food Helps Harford’s Families

Boy Scouts of America33,000 Pounds of Food Collected for Harford’s Shelters and Food Pantries

Bel Air, Maryland - The 2010 Scouting for Food event helped collect over 33,000 pounds of food items to help stock local food banks. The Harford District had 40 scout units participate in this year’s food drive with over 900 youth and adults helping canvas Harford County communities for food donations that will help feed Harford’s hungry families.
