Bel Air, MD. – Neither threat of rain nor relentless wind could put the brakes on The Highlands School’s first annual Car Show and Flea Market!
More than 50 car show exhibitors and 20 flea market vendors participated in the event, which attracted several hundred car enthusiasts and bargain shoppers in spite of the uncertain weather. All registration fees, donations and proceeds benefitted the school’s Scholarship Fund. Read more...

Harford Transit Buses Pick Up New Name, New Look

HCPS Board and AHCATSP Reach Tentative Contract Agreement

The Board of Education of Harford County has reached a tentative three-year contract agreement with the Association of Harford County Administrative, Technical, and Supervisory Professionals (AHCATSP).

Specifics of the tentative agreement are currently being shared with members of the Board of Education of Harford County and with the members of AHCATSP. The agreement becomes official after ratification by both AHCATSP and the Board. Read more...

Local Boy Scout Provides John Archer Students Access to Nature

Joshua Pugh, a Boy Scout and Harford Technical High School student, recently submitted a proposal to create a nature trail at John Archer School to complete his Eagle Scout project.

His proposal was approved by John Archer, the Harford County Public Schools Facilities Department and Joshua’s scout troop. He landscaped the nature trail for John Archer to create an area for learning and enjoyment for the students. Read more...
